6 things a parent should say. From Dan

I found this on the internet....thought of you so I'm sending it along. Perfect for those over-achieving, live vicariously through their kids, win or else type parents.........At a young age, the game should be fun. This should also apply to any age, husband/wife, girlfriend/boyfriend. As players, we get enough grief from the coach : )

For best results, parents should memorize and use the following:

-Before the Match

I love you.

Good luck.

Have fun.

-After the Match

I love you.

It was great to see you play.

What would you like to eat?

I would add that if you are an adult, and your significant (husband/wife etc....) other comes to watch you play, they should substitute “what would you like to eat” with “where would you like to go for beer”.

Hope to see you soon.
